This sweet boy recently came into our rescue after his beloved human mom had to move into assisted care due to serious health issues. At 5+ years old, Dawson suddenly found himself without the only home he’s ever known — and he’s absolutely heartbroken.

He’s grieving the loss of his person and struggling to adjust to this huge change. Right now, Dawson is very withdrawn and clearly missing his mom deeply. We’re doing everything we can to help him feel safe and loved, but he has a long road ahead.

He still needs a vet visit, but we are accepting applications for adoption.
